Mini Michelangelos runs art workshops, private art classes and art parties for children of all ages across Amsterdam.

My name is Maddy, and I am an art teacher trained in history of art at the Courtauld Institute of Art in London. In 2021 I moved to Amsterdam and founded Mini Michelangelos to combine my passions for art and education.

My workshops are taught for children of all ages. We investigate a new artist in every class, before making a beautiful artwork inspired by them.

My private art classes are fun and educational. Each class is themed around a different artist for the children to discover and be inspired by.

Classes take place at your home, and I bring all materials with me, including table cloth and aprons. Classes are one hour in duration for individual children or a group of siblings.

Price: €40 for 2 children (minimum payment), €50 for 3 children, €60 for 4 children.

Practicing and learning about art broadens and animates children’s understanding of the world around them, helping them to improve their fine motor skills and exercise their imaginations.

Creating art may also boost a child’s confidence in themselves and their abilities, as well as promoting a healthy attitude towards making mistakes.
